You’ve gotten the basics I have to imagine. So what else… 

Well, I was born here in Austin, TX. I have a great deal of family here, but my parents picked up and moved us to New Jersey when I was about 4. I would come back here to visit often, but I spent most of my life growing up in dirty Jerz. 

And hating it. It may be for some people, but it’s SURE AS HELL not for me. There’s way too much negativity and cynicism in the Northeast. That, along with the feeling of stagnation that I’d come to known in that music scene paved the way for me to move down here. 

But it didn’t just happen. Really, within the span of a few short months, I lost my serious girlfriend, my well paying job, and my high school friends that I had been living in a house with, were packing up and heading their own ways. 

Someone else might have just been down and out. Don’t get me wrong, I was initially. But I’ve always believed that these things happen for a reason. I don’t know about God or anything else like that (I was born and brought up a Buddhist and dig it in a philosophical sense) but I do get the sense that there are things going on in this world that we are unaware of… I’ll leave it at that. 

But it was all that destruction, essentially, that led me to the conclusion that it was time to make my move. Literally and figuratively. To get myself to my home and the place to do something with my music, and to track and produce my first record. It was such a great experience, and I can’t wait to get in the studio again! 

Hmm. What else to say. I’m the oldest of 5. I have 4 younger brothers, and an adopted baby sister. My mom pretty much demanded a daughter, and that was the only sure fire way… especially after 4 boys in a row, right? :P 

I’m 100% Sri Lankan. 

I’ve been playing the guitar and writing music since I was 13, but have only been writing lyrics and singing seriously for about 2 or 3 years now. 

I own 9 guitars. I had 10 but had to lose one… but I’m not done yet. I still have quite a few axes I have my eyes on…

I have a cat named Leo, and he’s totally my son. 

I suppose I’ll add more later, this is plenty for now… I have to figure out what are common things that people ask me…
